Le Due Torri, Bologna, Italy
This was a drawing I made on a trip to Italy. It was raining when I started but fortunately I managed to find a spot to paint in the dry under a nearby portico - one of many in Bologna!
The famous leaning towers - Garisenda (48m) and Asinelli (97m)- were built in the 12th Century and were once part of an estimated 180 towers throughout the City.
